Small Groups

Small groups at First Pres are a purposeful time of fellowship, reflection, and prayer.  Small groups meet for fellowship in a variety of ways; groups may meet in a home, cafe, or at the church. The point is to get to know people in the church. Small groups spend purposeful time in reflection and prayer. This may be discussing last week's sermon, discussing a passage of scripture, or simply talking about life together. 
Small groups are intended to be an easy way to get plugged into the life of the church.  You can always join a small group. Simply contact a small group leader and join in the fun! We schedule small groups in short 6-8 week sessions, so joining a small group does not mean a lifetime commitment. Normally, our small groups meet in January-February, April-May, and September-October.  During the summer and holidays, the church often meets for church wide fellowship time, such as picnics and potlucks
